Distractions are hidden by a simple, empty button. To show the distraction, you simply click the button.
What you hide is completely up to you. For every distraction Nudge hides, you have two options:
★ Hide the distraction at all?
★ If hiding, show the button to unhide?
Nudge comes with 14 hidden distractions across 7 sites including X, Facebook, TikTok, Bluesky and YouTube, and we’re rapidly adding to the list.

Much like Nigel Farage post-Brexit, I found myself shouting 'I want my life back' but instead of agitating for a generational apocalypse of a national referendum, I just had to install this handy Chrome extension. I'm not mindlessly scrolling through social media feeds or news sites anymore, but going on them when I want to get in touch with someone or find information. I am a free man. Join me!
Great stuff! Particularly good for FB - I realised you can pretty much delete your entire news feed on Chrome desktop, and this will then apply to your FB account whatever device you access it on. Honestly feels like I'm recovering from a drug habit right now. Thanks!
