Great concept, bad execution. Bing.
Amazing idea. Unfortunately it is powered by Bing. Everyone else is saying it already but I will add my review in too so hopefully you (the app developer) can see how many people dislike being forced to use Bing. The inconvenience of ads, I can totally deal with for charity. Bing however, I cannot. Please get google support or at least another option other than Bing. Until then, sadly i'll be sticking to Tab for a Cause and google.
It's great= I love it! it's a must get as a middle schooler surfing the web
It changed all my data that i searched for and it came up with irrelevant things like stores in the UK rather that Australia, and things in Scotland. I will still use tab for a cause but it was too much of a hassle to find what i wanted.
The idea is really good, but having to use bing is a big downside for me. For people who don't mind using bing: Absolutey recommended. There's genuinely zero reason to not have this extension. But personally, I'll just stick with Tab for a Cause and using Google.
It's a great concept, one complaint though: i don't get any search suggestions anymore when i use this extension so it would be great if that got changed
If it wasn't powered by bing I'd have no problems with it, but since google is the way forward I'll stick to Tab for a cause.
And here I thought Tabs for a Cause was the most ingenious and effective way to raise money for charity. Now I have both. The extension itself isn't intrusive, and though I wish it would use Google instead of Bing simply because of my own petty preference, that's the only "complaint" I have, and thus I still give 5 stars.
I love search for a cause. A plus is the fact that it doesn't collect as much information as most free sites like google. I strongly believe you should advertise the beta of search for a cause on tabs for a cause so that more people are informed of this fantastic extension. It's fast and works well, with seemingly no bugs or issues that need to be attended to. Fabulous work. Edit: I believe that a dark mode should be added, or add a customization for searching the web like the widgets and background for Tab for a Cause. Something extra to appeal to others (mainly because I like having a dark theme).
It's an amazing way to donate money, fast and easy. However, it's not as versatile as Google. For example, if you search up the definition of a word, instead of Google printing it out right in front of you, you have to go and click on a dictionary site and then find the definition. Or if you want a flight from New York to Miami, Google shows a list of possible flights right away, but Search for a Cause makes you get a flight on Expedia, Orbitz, etc. Still, thought, it's a great product that can help everyone in the planet!
