With this extension, you will no longer need to manually sort your bookmarks every time after you add a new item or modify an existing one.
Start by choosing a bookmark folder and how you want it sorted (by name, by url, by date, etc). This extension will then start tracking those folders for any change made, and whenever you add or modify a bookmark within them, their contents will be automatically sorted according to the rule you created.
Features:
- Sort your folders automatically whenever they are changed
- Or sort the folder only once, without tracking for further changes
- Sort by Title, URL, Date or even randomly

This team basically did what even Google could not do ie. sort your bookmarks according to date and it works as expected!

Works brilliantly. With Chrome discontinuing a whole lot of extensions I was looking for a new bookmark sorter. Booksorter is even better than my old one. Love that it "just works". No more manual clicking to sort.
I was looking for some way to sort my bookmarks by URL so all bookmarks from the same site stay together. This extension did exactly that. Swift as lightning too! Awesome!
Fabulous app! Sorts fast and by various functions that are truly helpful: subfolders on top, don't automatically sort i.e., allow manual sorting following a sort, etc. I couldn't be happier!

I wanted to ask for a request if possible, when you order by URL, should be an option to cut it on the domain, not use the whole URL ink.com/ZZ -> "AAA" as title of the bookmark link.com/AA -> "ZZZ" as title of the bookmark ordering by link, will put /ZZ first, but when you browse the bookmarks, the bookmark titled ZZZ will appear before AAA would be great to be able to order by domain, and then inside that order, alphabetically, cutting the rest of the URL just after the domain
