This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Could have been 5 stars, but recently I've been facing issues with the extension. The area near the search bar remains white, and the entire web page isn't turning dark. Please fix this issue.

It's my favorite Dark Mode extension which is more than a simple dark mode extension. There are a number of features: The ability to adjust light and dark mode. It's not simply a light/dark switch. There is more than one way to cause a specific webpages to render text and images correctly. My only question is if I buy the extension how the license will be applied, and how many licenses I'll need. When I buy something I like to backup the key. I don't mind paying for other's work, but I was able to find the answer to my question. Thank you for the an excellent extension.

This is great and much better than the extension i once used which basically inverts the image. It would be great if one could extend the brightness/contrast ratio to 100% each, since i really don't want a dark background, just being not completely WHITE also a slight hint of teal would be pleasant.
