This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Works great, but please don't give me notifications. I appreciate that the developer is excited to spread news about their IOS stuff, but I don't need to have my attention diverted in yet another way when I open my browser. If I see another one I'll probably be removing the extension.

Putting a red @ symbol just to notify about some irrelevant news is an utter disregard of the user. Shame.

Guys I love this extension. But why is there no easy way of seeing if it is ON or OFF on particular site? Some sites have dark mode by default. I don't want to use this extension on those sites. And I can't keep track of whether I have enabled/disabled them on specific site. If the extension logo shows a small indicator like a green or red dot near it on sites that have it on or off respectively, it would be greatly useful. Can you guys please make this small change? This extension would be a perfect 5/5 stars after that.

It would have been good if it had not disabled the ClearType in dark mode. ClearType is a sub-pixel technology for improving font clarity. And when it is disabled, the text becomes more blurry. I delete. Addition: I found that ClearType works in "Dynamic" mode (in "Filter" and "Filter+" still not) Since then, I changed my feedback and love this app.

very intuitive to use, and it is basically flawless. Very excited to try out the IOS version that just came out because the existing Safari dark mode extensions have been hot garbage
