This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Please fix this issue: In a particular site (mercadolivre.com.br) I add it to the Dark Reader's list as just mercadolivre and selected the option "do not invert selected". It works in most of the pages to not use dark mode, except when I search for something. The search results page stay in dark mode, and there's no way to change. I tried to add different things in the list, like "lista.mercadolivre.com.br"... but no success. I love Dark Reader! Please fix this! Thanks!

我不太能理解，別人都說有用，但是無論我安裝幾次，完全沒有反應？我安裝不少Dark mode的APP，逐一測試，真正讓人比較喜歡的是Illumify和Dark Background and Light Text的搭配，由於後者有安全性問題。我只好又開始重覆測試。 Dark Mode3.0、Dark Mode - Dark theme for Facebook、Dark Reader、Daydream Night Mode我都有裝，當然沒有全部開啟。現在系統是Illumify和Dark Reader，但是我發現即使是單開Dark Reader，沒用就是沒用，真正有作用的反而是Illumify..... 妙了！我的chrome跟別人不同嗎？開發者要不要幫測一下，真的無法理解.....

This WAS a FIVE STAR extension. I've used it in Chrome & Safari for years & contributed $$ I was so pleased. Recently, the icon has disappeared from the Chrome toolbar. It's still visible in Safari. I need Chrome for certain sites AND I NEED to be able to attenuate & toggle Dark Reader. Without this ability it's useless to me. I have written support twice and received no reply. When I am notified that this glitch is fixed or given a way to fix it I will be delighted to return the rating to FIVE STARS. XoXo

This is a fantastic extension and helps keep me from going blind/getting a migraine. I just wish text font & background colors didn't get inverted when I copy/paste.
