Have used it more than 2 years now without any issues, but it seems the latest update corrupted dynamic, now for example Youtube thumbnails are taking the global settings which make them darker. Have observed a similar behavior in Instagram photos, please fix this back to how it was! Edit: This has been fixed a long time ago now!

i use this daily and have contrast maxed out so the pages are actually black, this has never interfered with any image contrast in the past, everyrhing was normal, however all of the sudden i open it today, and now not only white on webpages is high contrast, but absolutely everything including images become max contrast, which makes the feature unusable for me and i now have to go back to everythinbg being a grey black instead of pitch black, is there a fix for this? not a deal breaker but kindof a bummer

Something happened in the latest updates, and now Dark Reader messes up all the images. It would be nice to have an option to exclude images from the algorithm.

Love this extension! Really charming! But since today my work site on Jira has partly turned white in dynamic mode. And this is on Chrome and Edge only, in Firefox it still works just fine (ver. 4.9.44) Screenshots: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZyxbDIjNHxrmdr2u-4re00sJWtnsXl1O?usp=sharing Filter+ is not a solution since become negative solarized (black text on not green is quite painful for my eyes). Problem with new Update- In dynamic it now darkens the whole page including images. In Static mode the Videos are totally dark. Except in PIP Old version was great

I've been using this dark reader for a long time and it has been really awesome. I've got serious photosensitivity, so having bright screens in my eyes is extremely painful, but this extension works the vast majority of the time and when it doesn't it's usually just because the website had text as an image (why!?). The fact that you can set it for only certain websites is nice and the shortcut to turn it on/off is handy, since that will usually reset and adjust if there is a website that didn't "turn dark" all the way.
