Dark Mode Reader is a fantastic extension for anyone looking to reduce eye strain during late-night browsing. It offers various color options that go beyond a simple inversion of colors, making your browsing experience visually pleasing. It's especially helpful when many websites tend to blind you with bright backgrounds at night. However, I have encountered some significant drawbacks. The extension can really slow down Chrome, particularly if you have more than 5 tabs open. My processor often maxes out, resulting in frustrating lag times of 3 to 15 seconds where I can't do anything. Initially, I thought my computer was the issue, but after deactivating the extension, everything worked smoothly again. It would be beneficial for the developers to address this resource-intensive problem, perhaps by providing a warning in the help section or offering a way to quickly deactivate the extension to reduce resource usage (would just simply turn dark mode off or must you disable it in the settings?). Another lightweight version with basic functionality for those who want to use dark mode without compromising performance would be a great addition. Overall, Dark Mode Reader is a wonderful tool for protecting your eyes, but be mindful of its impact on your system's performance. Awareness of this trade-off can help users better plan their browsing experience.

다 좋은데 휠 클릭 같이 새 탭으로 띄우면 적용이 이상하게 될 때가 있습니다. 하이퍼링크 통해 직접 들어가거나, 우클릭 새 탭으로 들어가기 해도 문제가 없는데. 새 탭을 확인 안 한 채로 열어두면 충돌이 일어나는 건지.

Great extension. Except you need a quantum computer to run it on. It does the job alright. Except if you have many tabs open, your Chrome will gradually become slower and slower and slower to a point you may want to throw it out the window. Of a skyscraper. As someone who is really patient, this really gets my blood boiling. Also, I am not one that will make the effort of putting a negative review, yet, here I am. To the developer: As a developer myself, sure, I would actually pay for this, as I need it. However, it's just not fit for multiple tabs a and long time use. I am under Linux with the latest Chrome. I also have a really decent Dell XPS 15 with 64 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. I've also tried it under Thorium. This also happens even if I have a list of allowed sites.
