This has always worked great. I mostly use it in Google Docs and Sheets, which, for whatever reason, still don't have a native dark mode in 2025. However, as of today, the colors are off in Google Docs and Sheets. I can't find any yellows; they all have a dark, orange-brownish tint to them. I can fix the colors by switching to "Filter+" in the options, but this breaks the controls at the top of the page by turning it to a white block. You can still click the controls, but you can't see them. My Chrome just updated itself today, and I'd much sooner believe that Google broke the addon and not the other way around. Either way, this is about the best you can get if you want to use Google Docs in dark mode, so I'll deal until it's fixed.

Earlier I would have given it a 5 star. I loved it. However, lately the extension is a bit buggy. The colors on some website appear weird; if you refresh the page, it goes back to normal. It also started lagging a lot, with a frequent message from the browser that Dark Reader is slowing down the loading please disable it. Also there is display issue when both the dark theme and the Dark Reader are turned on (YouTube, for example. it wasn't an issue in previous versions) Therefore, I'll currently give it only a 2 star until the developers fix it.
