This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Love this extension, works just about perfectly on every website I've used it on so far. I would be rating this 5 stars but suddenly I've started having an issue with it where certain images on the page will get replaced with a weird broken image link icon. It's not every image, but it can be pretty annoying on some pages. I know it is this app causing the issue because when I turn dark mode off, the normal images are there. I'm assuming this is just a bug that needs to be fixed, because until now everything with this extension has been great! Love the customization.

Gets stuck and turns all tabs to night mode permanently even after turned off or page refreshed.
The best night mode app out there.

very nice :) Problems: - Nearly unvisible scroll bars in Opera Browser :( - It SLOWS DOWN the browser by "calculating", rendering the dark design when switching tabs before showing them! :( Suggestions: - Smart darkening of white images, pictures.
