This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Отлично получилось, наконец - таки нашёл прогу для этого, есть конечно небольшие ошибки, например нет логотипа Яндекс на Странице яндекса, но это небольшие недочёты, а так, 5+

Using it for a few days - looks very promising. I have tried probably all available solutions to this problem but all of them always had some issues. This one seems to solve all my problems, in particular, it does not invert colors in images. Looks excellent so far.

I literally just started using this extension, so I dont have a lot of time spent testing it. So far, this extension works fairly well. It does a good job of applying a dark mode to various websites, while maintaining contrast with elements on the page. As every website is built differently and wasnt designed for a dark theme, not every website "darkens" . However, from what Ive seen so far, Dark Reader does a pretty good job. It turns backgrounds black and text white. It even while add some contrast to elements that were already black, so they stand out on the black background. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars, is one issue that I noticed. When opening a new tab, it will load the default white background, then turn it black.
