works great on all sites I use except ebay, which I use the most. Every time I go to a new page it takes 30seconds to load and on certain pages, I get the unresponsive notification. Its just too much, wanted this to work but it does not for my needs. I've seen this guy rip people for bad reviews so I cannot wait.

Here is a cool little trick to make it work on PDF files (since they tend to have a blinding bright light). Please type chrome://extensions in the toolbar. Scroll down to find the dark reader extension. Press the "details" button. It will open up the extension settings page. Find the setting "Allow access to file URLs" and enable it . Now head over to your folder or desktop or downloads wherever the pdf file is. Right-click on the file. Next, a menu will appear where you'll find the option "Open with" and select "Chrome." Different operating systems have different settings, but this should be for Macs. Drumroll: the PDF opens in Chrome with a dark background. :-D Alternately, the browser Vivaldi gives you the ability to toggle on "dark mode" and "Filter Sepia (orange tint)" without using any extension. The great thing is that it's like Chrome so easy to work with. Chrome can render in dark mode as well. You can type chrome://flags in the URL. Next, a page will load with all the settings and a search feature on top. Search for "Auto Dark mode for web content." Once you find this option, select "Enable with CIELAB inversion". Relaunch Chrome and everything will be in dark mode. I find that the color profile of this extension is far better. It has a lighter shade of black that reads easier for the eye. Plus offers more customization. But to each their own. Best of luck!!
