This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Amazing extension!
[CUIDADO] Em um teste casual, descobri que toda vez que ligo o Dark Reader, a carga de processamento do Google Chrome aumente de 2% para 32% e retorna para 2% ao desliga-lo. Rapidamente associei esta circunstância, com aplicativos que possuem [MALWARES] exploradores de [BITCOINS] que executam rotinas furtivas no PC do usuário sem o seu consentimento. Talvez eu esteja errado sobre o [MALWARE], mas agora que desinstalei o Dark Reader, nunca mais tive problemas com carga alta de processamento no Chrome. [CAUTION] On a casual test, I found that every time I turn on Dark Reader, Google Chrome's processing load increases from 2% to 32% and returns to 2% when I turn it off. I quickly associated this with applications that have [MALWARES] [BITCOINS] exploiters who run stealthy routines on the user's PC without their consent. Maybe I'm wrong about [MALWARE], but now that I've uninstalled Dark Reader, I've never had a problem with a high processing load in Chrome.
Very good, hotkey to turn on/off per site is very good, seems to have color improvements since sept 2018 maybe? everything looks better lately
Oh my god! This extension was introduced to me by one of my colleagues, but since I installed it, it HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! :D Every single time I open a web page, and my eyes don't hurt, I admire the work done by the author(s). Excellent job guys. There are some issues with some websites, for example, when I go to onedrive.com, the files are still displayed with a white background, but the extension is too convenient to lose a start for that ;)
Maybe the best extension ever! i got astigmatism and working many hours on pc.. i tried almost every kind of software but this works like a charm and my eyes are feeling more comfortable.
