This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

well im here only cause my other extensions topped workin in newst pathc. but this does not work for me i cannot set it to how i want PER individual site. so thats really bad. ill pass

Best. Extension. Ever. I thought to myself: "Boy it sure would be nice if there were a way to make all these blinding, white background web pages dark instead. That would be REALLY nice!" Looks like others feel the same way! Could it benefit from some additional tweaks (e.g. recognizing pictures & video and not reversing the colors)? Sure. But considering it's a FREE extension, am I complaining? Hell no! If you want more features, my recommendation is that you donate $5 to the dev team. My huge heartfelt thanks to all the devs who worked on this masterpiece.

CPU usage for me was too much. Simple Youtube video (720p, usually plays fine), two inactive tabs, and 98% CPU. Слишком грузит проц. Нафиг такое.
