This extension is perfect for my needs. Contrarily to FVD Video Downloader, this extension does not modify each page to insert publicity.nnTo those who complain about not being able to download Youtube videos: extension publishers cannot do it, it's part of the conditions for Chome Web Store use.nnLook for a desktop application instead. There is a free, Open Source and multiplatform app that is perfect for that.

This application is tremendously useful, relatively user friendly, and extremely reliable. I have used it to download between 200 and 1000 videos to be used to create DVD's for friends with limited access to the internet. It hasn't failed me yet. Sometimes is a need to retry a download because of a brief connection problem due to inclement weather of something like that, but I haven't experienced a problem with the Video Downloader application.

Works without Hassle on Non-YouTube Sites. Even on YouTube its only a few extra steps. For those that can't seem to get the download button to appear try playing the video so that it loads a little and the download button should pop up. Overall this is a must have extension for chrome.

really recommended. HAd tried a coule of other apps but this is the first which 100% able to download the flash videos. Really useful to archive videos...

Saving youtube, it does sniff out most of the videos. I would like to see more options for downloading.

Works great so far, but it would be nice if you could get it to pop up a dialogue to choose download location, or be able to set a different default download location than the Downloads folder that Chrome uses. I'm not sure if Chrome allows this, but that's the only thing that stands out to me as a missing feature.

This is a really good video downloader and the fact that it is a built in Chrome Extension makes it indefinitely better. It is easy to use, easy to understand...

Don't exactly appreciate the pop-up asking for a review, but this is a pretty useful tool to have. It doesn't always recognise videos on a page, but it's pretty reliable for the most part and a lot more convenient than not having it.

its a really good extension despite not being able to download videos from youtube. i have not come across a video i am not able to download with this extension. its really easy to use and it is able to download the video quality you are streaming which is really nice so if you want to download the video in a specific quality then just set the video you are watching to that specific quality and check the download options available. 10/10 would recommend others to get and use.
