IT WORKS!nnHowever, some sites make difficult to find their videos. Solution: view the source, identify the video link, click on the link. This will open another window with the video. Play it for a few seconds, and the extension will be ready to download.

I see where everyone is complaining because you click on the green download arrow and then you have to click another icon because of how YouTube handles downloads but I have no problem with having to do that as I'm able to get my videos that I want to be able to view offline when I don't have internet connection because I usually download instructional videos and I can't always be online so it's nice to have the ability to get it offline so I can watch it. So I'm pretty happy with how this extension works.

This is better than the premium flash downloaders (TubeHunter, others) are by miles. The others automatically detect videos and prompt to download them which is very annoying when there are flash ads or when scrubbing/seeking through a video. This one waits for the user to play a video, then adds a green icon to the corner. Nothing intrusive or annoying, you just click the green button and it quietly downloads the video. I really can't think of anyway to make this app better except for a format converter, but even then it's still perfect.

I would rate Video Downloader Pro a 5 if it could download all video from the web. That being said, this is a wonderful extension for Chrome that does a good job downloading most videos that are not specially protected by the person posting the video, or the video is on YouTube, which is understandable as Google owns both YouTube and Chrome browser.
