I will try to actually write a new review.nnIn short, The add-on works really well. It downloads without hassle straight away. Any speed problems I run into are from slow WiFi connections taking my Laptop to different locations. nnAs of right now, I have yet to find a video that didn't download properly. I have run into the issue where the downloader reads advertisements as videos and it's annoying to find the video I want, but it's not a deal breaker.nnSimply put, a very good add-on for chrome.

its awesome...a few adjustments here and there and its good to go...by adjustments i mean the name..it gets confusing at times when i download a file, especially series and i cant tell episode one from two because they're in the same format...if u can fix this then you'll definitely get my 5

Does what it advertises, but doesn't work on ALL sites/videos of course. I have two video downloader extensions and the scope of both vary so having more than one installed can help bridge the gaps between what one will and won't download. Great extension overall, thanks for making it available for everyone!

Works better much than 9xbuddy (which has nasty pop ups). 9xBuddy tells me that video has no download link but Video Downloader will grab them with no problem.

Useful, but prone to failure. Most websites work fine, but every now and then it will fail to detect that a movie can be downloaded, making it useful but not a perfect solution. Still, this is a problem I've had with every video downloader. As far as extensions go it's still one of, if not the best option for the task.
