This is where News Feed Eradicator comes in.
News Feed Eradicator removes the most addicting part of Facebook, Twitter and other social networks - the feed - and replaces it instead with an inspirational quote. You can still use the other functionality as usual, you just won't get sucked into the attention hole.

I've been looking for such a great tool !
better than blocking everything because you can still see things you NEED to see. other solutions are a hammer solutions that make you actually use it less.

This is a very good extension but I would really love to see an update that includes TikTok and it would also be nice to see a mobile version of this tool.

I love the self help quotes but I dont like any of the politically charged quotes such as “No matter how big a nation is, it is no stronger than its weakest people, and as long as you keep a person down, some part of you has to be down there to hold him down, so it means you cannot soar as you might otherwise.” this is just pure political propaganda, I get we deem these ideas cool right now but there is no historical backing to support any of these claims and being fed ideology through news feeds or news feed eradicator is not the choice I want to be making with such an extension And I was not able to disable any of these politically charged quotes
