View and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files - without needing Office installed on your computer.
Once the extension is installed, Office files that you drag into Chrome, open in Gmail, Google Drive and more will be opened in Docs, Sheets and Slides for viewing and editing.
You can save each file back to its original Office format or convert it to Docs, Sheets or Slides to unlock more features, like inviting others to edit with you, commenting, chatting and more.

no funciona siempre
Frequent updates to permissions and no longer working. Was good for quick viewing .docs.
Can't even get it opened and when ever i try to make the app fix my power point it dosen't work. This is a terrible app! Don't download this app! :(
Good one It will be good if i can open it in iframe
Because it is within the browser it has the same problem as Sheet, that is, it only prints in portrait. I'd like to see this as a stand alone app and see if it prints in landscape.
its ok for creating new documents, but when it comes to opening files that were created on other pc, it does not work right. file is opened but some formatting is missing, and you see it right away. its like that with all the files i've tested. sad...

It works to some extent, but still feels beta. It has great potential, but I would like to see it in a more stable release.
the formatting you get from this APP is horrible!
I came across Office Viewer because I needed just to view ppt files found via google search, and spare me the pain of having to download them first (as pdf viewer does it, basically). And in this regard, so far so good : does the job very well. Thanks for this urgently needed viewer.
