View and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files - without needing Office installed on your computer.
Once the extension is installed, Office files that you drag into Chrome, open in Gmail, Google Drive and more will be opened in Docs, Sheets and Slides for viewing and editing.
You can save each file back to its original Office format or convert it to Docs, Sheets or Slides to unlock more features, like inviting others to edit with you, commenting, chatting and more.

听说以前是能在线预览的 但是现在已经没有在线预览功能了 只能把本地文件拖入进去再下载再打开 有点扯犊子
It doesn't work on new macs and no one at google cares. This is an abuse of Google's Chrome Web Store's terms of Service. We as a community can report it and maybe they'll fix it! After you install it, uninstall it and check the "Report Abuse" box. Then report it as "Doesn't Work" -- My previous review: Great that I can drag a CSV or XLS into the browser, i do this all the time... (also works for other microsuck products but ill stick to these for brevity) However, Missing a few important features: 1) Allow me to choose which google account i want to create the new file under 2) default to creating a new sheet instead of always make me convert (i never want a csv to be xls file...) 3) Allow me to send to sheet from CSV download instead of make me download then drag and drop 4) Allow me to create a new google sheet (or doc or whatever) with one click (i can create a new xls, as if i'd ever want to do that...)
Big question, it doesn't seem to be playing any type of videos that I have on my PPT. Is this possible? Only Office Online seems to be playing them.

I was waiting for this simple idea for so long time. You even beat me - I expected a windows launching chrome. But this one is a pure chrome application which is even better.
