AI 产品解读View and edit Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) directly in Chrome using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides as the rendering and editing engine
Allows users to open and work with Microsoft Office documents without having Microsoft Office installed on their computer, using Google's free web-based editors instead
User opens an Office file (by clicking, dragging into Chrome, or via Gmail/Drive). The extension intercepts the file via MIME handler registration, opens it in a tab using its built-in QOWT (Quickoffice Web Toolkit) rendering engine, and presents a basic editor. User can view/edit the file, then save back to Office format or convert to Google Docs/Sheets/Slides format (requires Google Account sign-in for conversion and Drive features).

- 目标用户
- Chrome users who need to view or edit Microsoft Office files without owning Microsoft Office / Users of Google Docs/Sheets/Slides who receive Office format files / Chrome OS users (extension pre-installed)
- The extension's core JS files (mainApp.js, mainQOWT.js) are heavily minified, making deep code flow analysis difficult
- Cannot fully verify whether basic view-only mode works without login from source alone - the sign-in messages are for conversion/copy actions specifically
- Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) may have additional paid tiers but those are external to the extension itself
付费分析未识别到付费功能
No evidence of paid features, subscriptions, payment processing, or upgrade prompts in the extension source. The 'promo' dialogs are for Office Compatibility Mode conversion to Google Docs format (a free feature), not payment-related. No terms like premium, subscription, payment, purchase, billing, or upgrade were found. The keyword matches for 'pro' and 'stripe' are false positives from words like 'process', 'promo' (feature promotion), 'predefined process', and 'diagonal_stripe' (a UI pattern).

- The extension requires a Google Account to perform core workflow actions such as converting Office files to Google Docs/Sheets/Slides format and saving copies to Google Drive. Multiple locale strings confirm this: 'You need to sign in to your Google Account in order to convert this file' and 'You need to sign in to your Google Account in order to make a copy.' The extension uses the 'identity' and 'identity.email' permissions for Google authentication. However, basic viewing of locally-opened Office files may work without login.
I've been looking for something like this I have a HP Chromebook G14 and it works fine so far Thank You
Pretty rubbish. Can't open some of the sheets and Reporting isssues diesn't work
Easy to use
Mostly seems to work; but in a simple spreadsheet I used the function =sqrt(a*a-c*c) and it appear to produce the square of the number rather than the square root. I later used a Google sheet which produced the right answer.
Naprosto dostačující. Za mě 5 *
很好用,文档可以离线编辑和查看。 文档拖进chrome是查看不是下载,我用的manjaro chrome unstable。
mantap dan bagus
Só o meu que parou de funcionar hoje? (16/01/2020)

What does it actually do? How is this any different to Google Sheets? I don't understand what the purpose is, I can already view and edit Microsoft Office documents in the various Google equivalents. One thing I can say, is that Google is useless for this aspect of document management. It's one area where Microsoft outshines them in every way. What would actually be useful, is if we were allowed to open these documents using Office instead of the rubbish 3rd party apps, or saving it to our drives. Vendor lock-in by Google sucks.
