DOES NOT HAve any support for my fellow firefighter brothers and sisters and does not have a charity option to support our men and women in blue
I am such a huge fan of this. It's such an easy way to be able to donate money, and all the widgets are so helpful! I highly recommend because it is so nice to have bookmarks, notes, and tasks right there. I do miss seeing the google doodle, but that's about the only thing.
Love the concept, but as a new tab its not great. Features I want: ability to select custom background directly from your drive, rather than a link quick shortcuts directly on the home screen, like the Default new tab in chrome. search bar in the centre, with search autocompletion, if possible.
Great, just wished financial statements could be accessed more easily
Good Design Good Gadgets For a good cause Sometimes a bit inappropriate advertisements (Maybe thats just my algorithm speaking) 5/5 ish :D
good
Really easy way to help important charities. It's one of the few ways I can help financially as a minor. It works fine, and doesn't bring me to any weird/sketchy search engines. I open about 5-10 tabs daily (and that's before school has started up again) so that's about 5-10 cents daily. It might not seem like a lot, but the hearts add up quickly. The ads don't bother me much, it's not as big of a deal as people are making it. The only reason i rated it 4 instead of 5 is because i wish the loading was a tiny bit faster. But other than that, it's great
At first it worked fine but after a few hours the browser just became blank and served no cause
great idea no inconvenience at all
Tabs for a Cause is great in concept but completely falls apart when it comes time to donate the hearts you've collected. Nearly every charity on this extension is either ineffective or flat-out bad. Conservation International is yet another faulty environmental organization, the Human Rights Watch may have biases, GiveDirectly's method of combating poverty is inefficient, Water.org hasn't had any high-profile scandals yet but the long-term impacts of its methods may be bad, and the Foundation to Decrease Worldsuck is literally fueled by YouTubers who really aren't the group of people I'd go to to freely select reputable and genuinely helpful charities. I could go on but I feel like this list makes my point. If the creators can't make it so that users can select the charities they want to donate to then I'd sincerely recommend that they either research the organizations they select themselves or approach activists, researchers, or really anyone who's familiar with major social/political issues for help with selecting who to donate to.
