OMG, es funktioniert!!! Endlich, endlich öffnen sich die Tabs wieder im Hintergrund!!! Das hat mich echt wahnsinnig gemacht, dass die sich neuerdings immer im Vordergrund öffnen, wenn ich mit der Mittelmaustaste klicke (was für mich eindeutig "Hintergrund bitte!" bedeutet), während ich noch auf der für mich aktiven Seite weiterlesen möchte. Danke, danke, danke!!!
Well,it gets the job done.However, the mechanism seems the chrome opens new tab in front and this extension turns it in background in milliseconds of time.I got this answer because chrome often shows glitches everytime I open a new tab,maybe I should get a better computer..Is there other ways to approch this function? edit： another quest,when I open a newtab using mouse gesture,it opens in background I think this should be always in front

one of the best research tools for chrome. it is the simplest extension, but it does make it easy to look up keywords while parsing through content. background tabs for the win!
amazing thank you, this was driving me crazy...
This is the greatest gift one could get. Works perfectly. Thank God this exists. I like to select and search for multiple things on a page without the results tab taking focus immediately. This extension does exactly that.
This will avoid a mouse movement and a click for every new tabs I wanna open and look at later. I've been precisely looking for an extension that does this exact thing. Thank you!
