With this extension you can easily search for text you have selected. When some text is selected you can left click the selected text to get a popup where you can choose a search engine to search with.
In the options page you can customize the look of the menu, which mouse button that should activate the menu, which search engines to show, and a lot of other things.

When you install this extension you will get a warning that this extension can:
"Access your data on all websites."
This is needed because the code for the popup-menu needs to be added to every website for it to work.

Great plugin! but there are three issues as following: 1. Can all search engine items be import from the browser's builtin Search Engines? or sync or anything? 2. Can the plugin support %u(unicode) keyword? you know all double-byte charaters of easten-asia will be displayed as garbled text. an unicode translation of search keyword must have in some websites. 3. There is a few issue under the Chrome of Windows XP system, the dropdown menu displayed abnormal in the upper right corner, all search engine items are not displayed except keyword input box. BTW, all is OK in Win7. please fix it for all users of XP, thank you!
One of the best out there and definitely a MUST have for everyone !! Absolutely brilliant ! p.s. adding multiple search of a combined user selected groups at one click will be a great improvement ! (selection of prefered several engines grouped at one click to open each one in a new tab)
上下文菜单没有图标啊，是BUG吗
太良心了Too conscience 可以跟随Google账号同步,也可以导出导入 可一次选中文字,多次搜索（打开搜索的页面后，原来选中的文字保持选中，以便切换搜索引擎继续搜索） 可以快捷添加引擎 弹出方式很全的自定义 Thanks !
The icon colors looks inverted in dark mode. Can you please fix it? P.S. Thanks for adding search suggestion in the toolbar search.
