The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive.
* Adds a browser action to save the current page.
* Adds a right-click context menu to save hyperlinks and media.
* Configurable through an options page.
This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.
After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document.

OK - super useful. It is lacking in some usability design areas. It could be easier to change the destination directory during/after download within the dialogue rather than having to either set up the new destination directory before hand or else move the files via GDrive later. It could be more seamless and could use fewer steps in other words. Also - since I often need to download several files at once, it would be REALLY useful if the files could have consecutively numbered names so that I can tell which is which when they are all finnished. All downloaded files have THE SAME name in gdrive which is annoying. Every one of your users will have to rename each file to distinguish them from each other.

This extention not work with browsers based on chromium.
It would be really useful to me if I could decide on the go where the file should be saved.
Works perfectly, except for the odd glitch. Also, once I chose a specific GDrive folder to save to, I was unable to revert my settings back to saving in My Drive - I had to reinstall the extension to fix it. Edit: Two years later, it doesn't work. It started with an error on some sites about maxing-out tab-something-or-others, and now it just refuses to work entirely, giving "You must authorize Save to Google Drive." Edit 2: All else works fine, yet we still have, "This request exceeds the MAX_CAPTURE_VISIBLE_TAB_CALLS_PER_SECOND quota."
Nice Idea, but doesn't work for large files, which seems like the main usecase for transferring stuff directly to gdrive. :( > Download failure: Source too large (665 MB).

Its useless... you cant even change destination from My Drive to SHARED DRIVES (Team Drive)
Old extension that never got updated and is hopelessly broken in the current version of Google Chrome.
