The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive.
* Adds a browser action to save the current page.
* Adds a right-click context menu to save hyperlinks and media.
* Configurable through an options page.
This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.
After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document.

Nice tool ... If possible, I want to add the add url feature, like the multicloud tool. So in the future I don't use multicloud anymore.
Sometimes it doesn't save the photo properly and cuts off the bottom with weird white space. It also doesn't integrate with Google Photos well at all, especially now that Photos and Drive are getting separated. It does technically allow you to save photos and them add them to Google Photos yourself later though, so it does still "work"
O salvar no google drive é uma extensão legal, permite você tirar print e salvar páginas da web. O ruim dele é quem nem todas as páginas são possíveis de serem salvas.
Parece só salvar em .png. Apesar de existir menu de opções para alterar para outras extensões, a alteração não se efetiva, continua salvando em .png.

La idea está bien, el problema viene a la hora de la organización "al vuelo", sólo permite elegir la carpeta predeterminada. Esto no es suficiente, debería tener la opción de guardar el documento en cualquiera de las carpetas de la unidad y no en una predeterminada, esto obliga a posteriormente meterte en la aplicación para relocalizar el archivo. Esto hace de la extensión algo inútil pues resulta más fácil descargar y "guardar como" que usar la extensión. Saludos
It is really annoying that this extension signs you out and makes you sign back in after every single freaking image you try to save to your drive. All I wanted was a way to save images without downloading them and then uploading to google drive, not more work then that. This app says its "productive" but it really isnt if I have to sign in MORE THAN ONCe after each image I save
