What's the point? Just pin a bookmark to the web page. While you can type in questions and it will give you answers based upon what you input into the query box... 1) it will not maintain any history of your Chrome Browser's Perplexity addon history anywhere and 2) will not be able to read many (or in my case none) website pages as it's core proposition is stated for. Compare this to the fine Perplexity website which does both of these things. Best to just copy a url / text into the Perplexity website and get your answer there.

I'm a paid user of perplexity and this extension can't summarize pages from a lot of famouse web sites like google search result page, medium, reddit, etc. (It does work on wikipedia). What really pissed me off is not that it won't work on so many famous web sites, it's their customer service. I provided a list of webisites that this extension doesn't work on through perplexity's "Pro Support" and the extension version I installed and the browser I use. But they just replied with a template response saying I can "update the extension" or "Check permission", bla bla bla, despite that I have alreaday mentioned my extenison version and the extension being working on wikipedia in my bug report to them. At the end of their reply, they said "provide us with specific examples of the URLs that failed to summarize". Can't you see the list of websites I provided in my bug report? wikipedia: success google search result page: fail imdb: fail medium: fail reddit: fail All you need to do is just move your fingers and type in "google.com" and search for a random word! Why not I debug the core problem and fix it for you????
