its clearly no longer maintained. It does not work

Doesnt work . Just give definition of the word summarize. I am trying it in chrome
i don't find it very useful and just got to their main site instead.
Unable to work, I switched to tinamind.
J'utilise beaucoup l'app et le site de Perplexity, mais cette extension me laisse... perplexe ! Elle est incapable de se "connecter" au contexte (page ouverte), si je lui demande "résumer cette page" en spécifiant bien le contexte "cette page", il m'expliquer en quoi consiste l'action de résumer une page. Au final, ne sert à rien d'autre que d'utiliser Perplexity en miniature au lieu de son environnement normal.
This extension used to be great. It's become functionally useless.
When you click Summarize, instead of summarizing the page, it tells you the definition of the word "summarize". This is moronic.
I used to rely on Perplexity daily. Recent changes to models and behavior make it unusable for my workflow, and none of this was clearly communicated. Very sad to leave a 1‑star review.
Eine dümmliche Erweiterung, die einem plötzlich mehr Arbeit bereitet. Man schaue sich Summarizing (This page) an, die Erweiterung liefert wiederholt eine Definition von "Summarizing", hat das niemand getestet? Man wechselt den Tab und alles, was man vorher eingegeben hat und wonach gesucht wird, ist weg. Ich bin ein großer Fan von Perplexity, nutze gerne Spaces und Connectors, aber diese Erweiterung ist wirklich unsinnig in meinem Anwendungsfall.
