Auto opening ads on chrome from MaxAi.me. Absoulute malware of an app.
now automatically opening tabs for maxai - which I don't want. uninstalled after years of usage
Uninstalled after popups advertising some AI addon they partnered with started showing up
This extension was perfect and extremely handy for the past few years, but today it has begun injecting popup tabs advertising unethical AI nonsense. It was a quick uninstall and report for me.
Today a new tab randomly opened, directing me to a chrome web store extension called MaxAI.me. I checked the Eye Dropper extension and there is now an ad showing at the bottom for MaxAI.me, and figured this extension was the cause for the tab opening. I will now be removing this extension. I don't appreciate this kind of intrusive ad placement.
works perfectly, but today it redirected me to an ad as soon as i opened chrome. we don't do that here...
