This is the Web Helper extension for LanSchool. It extends the capabilities of the LanSchool Student software. This extension only works in a LanSchool classroom environment with LanSchool student software installed. If the LanSchool Student software is not connected, this extension becomes dormant.

this app should be prohibited because it violates my privacy and "People have the right to be free from intrusion into personal matters, even in a school setting. The right to student privacy extends to education records, admissions, and conduct, for example. Generally, a student's right of privacy is violated when personal information is disclosed" so if your teacher puts up LanSchool on the screen up front you can say that that is illegal because it is personal information and it is being disclosed without your consent. This is spyware and a invasion of my uses on my laptop
I'm not even allowed to go to google docs, you know the cloud based document editor primarily used for academics. Can't research for projects, can't read documents THAT THE SCHOOL GIVES ME BECAUSE IT BLOCKS BROWSER BASED READERS, I can't look at news, can't even go to thesaurus.com (but I'm allowed to dictionary.com of course), I can't get rid of it FROM MY OWN COMPUTER THAT I BOUGHT, I can't do google searches, I can't go to google classroom, can't go to government websites, feels bad man. Literally the worst app for school.
should i report this anyways i dont like it it doesnt let me use a vpn and hardly any teacher at my school uses it
