This is spyware and an invasion of student's privacy as this can be used at school/anywhere outside of school, can be used offline, this shouldn't be allowed on student's computers.I get that this is a way to monitor students from wright and wrong but this ''Web helper'' is nothing of the such and is a virus that can't be uninstalled from student's computer. And don't even get me started on the usages on this app, the teachers can access the webcam, microphone, files, passwords, and student screens, which is SUCH an invasion of student's privacy. In all, they say this app is supposed to protect the student's against the virus,but this app is the virus itself, and the app is horrendous and shouldn't even exist, to begin with.

This wasant in the computer contract. This is really annoying, but the school pays for it and dosent use it. when they do its anoyying tho. THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND IT CANT BE FREE WITH PEOPLE TAKING AWAY OUR RIGHTS OF FREEDOM ON THE COMPUTER. COMPUTER IS BIG PART IN LIFE SO ITS TAKING AWAY RIGHTS. PLz help

OK now don't get me wrong i am a student but this extension has a fair share of problems if you are not using in a school environment but if you do use it in a school environment it still has some extreme problems. PROS: Allowes teachers to keep students on task and can prevent students from doing what they are not supposed to do. CONS: Is installed as a virus, cannot uninstall( from my understanding)... Has an INVISIBLE ICON IN CHROME(SUSPICIOUS!). CAN be used as spyware... and if a student knows his way around coding he can make is screen on Lanschool show whats not actually there, WHICH maybe good because if it is being used as spyware against you can be good to prevent anyone from evading your pivacy... In conclusion it is pretty bad... it can be used as good but the cons just outweigh the pros by a longshot so if youre a teacher or principal reading this stop using this. It can prohibit the learning environment and for students who need to listen to music to learn it can stop them from listening to. SO PLEASE DONT USE THIS IT PROHIBITS LEARNING NOT INCREASES LEARNING!
