What if you could just choose your YouTube layout? Well, now you can! CustomTube lets you choose between recreations of any YouTube layout from 2008-2021, all with a single click!

Outside of the layout selector, CustomTube has even more options, including:

-Ability to loop videos by default (with an option to exclude playlist videos)

-Choose the size of the video player

-Make search better by hiding some irrelevant results

-Hide the "Shorts" button on the sidebar

Amazing! The best extension and the layouts are perfect (only late 2013 is kinda glitched). You can choose every layout! The only thing is the buffer icon that spins, it doesnt rpelace it with the old spinning dots, but otherwise amazing!

I'd like to thank Google and YouTube for consistently pushing out updates to their platforms that make the user experience worse. It's so funny that we have a recurring fight between a multibillion dollar company versus a community of random people and the community somehow wins every time by simply restoring things that had no reason to change or be removed in the first place. Install this, Return YouTube Dislike, SponsorBlock, YouTube AutoHD + FPS, Youtube-shorts Block, ChatReplay, Screenshot YouTube, and Sidesy, (plus an adblocker if you don't use Premium, obviously) and the site instantly feels 10 times more usable and friendly than the one we currently have created by a team of people paid millions of dollars to make the site usable and friendly. Excellent extension.

Tried this and it's pretty cool! Does what it says. But uhh...admittedly, I mainly just wanted to throw in my vote for a feature to revert YouTube's newest layout change - the comment-recommended video switcharoo. It's just...it's so bad. Save us from this ineptitude, please.

pretty good but my pea sized brain makes me unable to understand what's going on in the settings and the for some reason I cant reach the extra stuff on the right like full screen windowed and other stuff without moving the whole tab fixing that would be nice also I don't know how to save my custom options.
