What if you could just choose your YouTube layout? Well, now you can! CustomTube lets you choose between recreations of any YouTube layout from 2008-2021, all with a single click!

Outside of the layout selector, CustomTube has even more options, including:

-Ability to loop videos by default (with an option to exclude playlist videos)

-Choose the size of the video player

-Make search better by hiding some irrelevant results

-Hide the "Shorts" button on the sidebar

This has a lot of features but unfortunately not the one I want. I've woken up today to find my use of YouTube completely upended by the boneheaded change that's moved the comments section from under the video, to the sidebar. Which means there's almost no way you can realistically read long comments. What I need is to be able to move the comments back to below the video where they belong so I can be fully involved. How are you supposed to discuss things YouTube. This extension does offer a huge number of options, which is great. My hope is that at some point, the developer will be able to do this flip. Ironically all I can find is extensions that move comments from below where they belong, to a sidebar that's unusable, and now YT have done that to us, I need the exact reverse :D I may be missing the setting that can do this for me, but I suspect this change is too new to be countered. I did try each layout year by year but couldn't get anything that fixed it. I dread to think how much work creating this is/was and kudos to the developer for even trying to counteract YouTube's extremely poor UI design.

Very nice! Finally something that works. best replacement for stylus which doesn't work most of the time but this works great. your first priority should be keeping up with youtube useless updates cuz they are always changing stuff now days. don't worry about adding new futures. it is awesome as it is right now just need to keep up with youtube changes

Pretty cool extension! Would use for some videos! Update: Changed to 3 stars due to CustomTube not even changing the new YouTube layout that moved the Comments and text to the right.

É Uma extensão Ótima! tem alguns bugs mas ainda é bem legal e funciona. Bem melhor que "Youtube Redux"

Only problem i have is that if the Display shorts button is unchecked, it still appears on the side :( plz fix this as it ruins the look for me, everything else is great!

Hay una opcion para esconder el boton de shorts totalmente? pq a mi me aparece el boton debajo del boton de "mi canal" y aparece sin texto, cuando le doy click no pasa nada pero igualmente el espacio entre los botones se ve feo, todo lo demas esta bien.
