Hey! Have you seen the terrific rating above? You must be wondering: “Is it finally a good popup blocker? Should I try it?” Do read the text below to find out if that's something you'd like to give a try.

So, answering your questions: “No and Yes” - it isn’t some “good” popup blocker. PopUpOFF is brilliant: https://github.com/RomanistHere/PopUpOFF/issues/16 - and you should definitely try it if you are as annoyed with popups, cookie notifications, overlays and other sticky things that overlay content as I do.

Why?

- PopUpOFF doesn’t just block some popups that other developers paid for, but YOU are in control of it. You decide not to have any single overlay on the screen or casually remove only the most annoying things (hi cookie notifications and subscription popups).

- You can unlock and read PAID content FOR FREE on some websites (see the video above).

- Size of this extension is 100 times less than any other average popup blocker in the store. Size doesn’t matter? Well… I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Thought I am finally found the extension that does-it-all. Very soon after installation I started to realize that I still need to use AdBlock. After using the extension for a few days I noticed that I have to manually disable it on almost all websites I’m using because it blocked more than half of the essential scripts. Also, the interface is very outdated. The last update of the extension was 3 (!) years ago. I am confident that the potential of this extension is huge but the developer needs to monitor the issues and update the extension much more frequently. I’d like to thank the developer tho - I truly believe this extension my become #1 in it’s category

It attempted to work, using Aggressive mode, but page still wouldn't show content after the popup went away.

Хорошее расширение! Понравилось управление инструментом из контекстного меню.Очень удобно парой кликов удалять со страниц сайтов все лишние и ненужные элементы. 5 звезд моя оценка! Спасибо разработчику!

Me salio un popup de aviso de bloqueo de anuncios, y lo elimine con ublock pero se congelo la pagina. O sea me obligaba a eliminar el bloqueo de uBlock. Hasta que descubri esta extension despues que habia probado otras que no me agradaron Excelente extension, la configure en modo agresivo y resolvi rapido. Me elimino el pop up y la pagina web no se congelo, tampoco el uBlock. En otras palabras me resolvio. La recomiendo. Ah! free!. Nada como otros que hay que soltar los $.

Something missing- options can select full productivity, then works on www.tvnet.lv but it blocks some releted stories to right too off in https://www.thelocal.fr/20221210/frances-mediawan-buys-majority-stake-in-brad-pitts-plan-b/ So not ideal for every site Update- Not working on tiktok.
