Twitch Live

Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live.

NOTE: Version 3.0.2 is a beta. Please report any issues.

Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online.

Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith.

Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save.

Does it has a Github or some other place we could contribute to? Something i wanted it to have was if you click the notification, it would open up the stream, instead of doing nothing, and i could put this feature if this was open source (i know i could just edit this extension locally, but that way others don't get this feature too).

No longer must I suffer the terrible load times of twitch just to see if anyone is streaming, just check click & go. thank you mike

Very useful, thank you! Feature request: ability to add tags, keywords or simply a line of text for each channel in options. Clicking the Twitch Live icon would reveal the list of live channels + those added info to help the user to identify channels content at a glance. Edit: or maybe add the current title instead which wouldn't require any input form the user and would still give infos on the content especially for the very vast Creative channel.

I have enjoyed not having to reopen follows in Twitch, to see which streamers are live. Though I have found that it only shows a max of 25 live streams. It didn't use to be this way, so I have to look for a new extension.

Can not Scroll with Mouse 3 since the new Chrome Update. But everything else works just fine. Love this Extension. EDIT : SCROLLING GOT FIXED

This app stopped working, but then I uninstalled and re-added it. It's working again now. Thank you for the fix. :-)
