Twitch Live

Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live.

NOTE: Version 3.0.2 is a beta. Please report any issues.

Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online.

Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith.

Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save.

asks me to log into my twitch account, but if I click the button in the settings menu, nothing happens. Doesn't work for me

For whatever reason stream names are now listed by displayname instead of account name as it was before the refactor and new API implementation. It becomes a problem when non-latin alphabets are involved. Unless you're fluent in hangul it's suddenly a bit harder to identify which Korean streamer you're following is online. "haena_0714" is a bit easier to identify than "해나" for example.

I use it everyday. It's simple and it works like a charm. Recently it had some issues due to Twitch updating their API which made this extension unusable. But the developer quickly fixed it in a few days. Thank you so much Mike!

Used it for years. Glad the dev fixes issues when Twitch breaks it. 4/5 because I would like to see: - [Important] Dark mode option - [Nice to have] Option to set the link for clicking "Twitch live" at the top - [Nice to have] Favorites: Maybe have a clickable star next to each streamer in the list that filters them to a new "favorites" section at the top. Saved locally so we only have to favorite each streamer once. I'd even settle for a list in

Update 03-07-22: Amazing to see this app continue to be updated even after the recent Twitch changes! Easy 5/5, gets the job done with no problems!
