Twitch Live

Twitch TV extension for displaying a user's favorite channels which are currently live.

NOTE: Version 3.0.2 is a beta. Please report any issues.

Twitch Live is a browser extension for Google Chrome that makes it easy to check which of your favorite Twitch.tv channels are currently live. You can also configure the extension to send you a notification when one of your favorite streams goes online.

Extension was developed by Mike Chambers. Design by Ben Griffith.

Once the extension has been installed it will place a small monitor / TV icon on the top right of your browser window. NOTE YOU MUST NOW PIN THE EXTENSION IN CHROME IN ORDER TO SEE THE ICON. Open the options tab by right clicking the icon, and selecting options. Once the options tab is open, enter your Twitch.tv user name, and click save.

It has not been working properly for the last week or so. The first couple days the addon wouldn’t update when streams went offline or live. And now it isn’t working at all anymore. It just says ‘’None of your streams are currently online.’’ I’ve tried reinstalling and changing my username in settings, but nothing works.

This is one of my favorite extensions, I'm not sure if it is still maintained but it seemed to stop working for me recently, not sure if it's a twitch or chrome update that broke it, but I hope this could bring a fix or something

Can't change username in options. It does not save.

Used this for years, and never had any issues with it. Does exactly what I want it to do and I love it. Unfortunately, like others have said, it has stopped working recently. Please update and fix! This is my favourite extension, and I don't want to have to switch to another. (I've tried others, and don't like them). EDIT: The wonderful developer has fixed the issue! I've changed this to 5* and hope to use it for years to come. Thank you for making such a great extension!

up til a few days ago it worked ok but hasnt shown anyone live but if i go to twitch i had multiple people live. i wish it would work again and i wish it would make a sound when someone new goes live

Stopped working since Twitched updated their API on 28/02/22. Hopefully the developer notices and updates the extension - https://redd.it/t3yxs3
