This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

It makes exactly zero sense that one wouldn't be able to remotely control a Chromebook using this. If there is some concern for security (as I have read elsewhere), why not simply make an advanced admin toggle to allow for this or not?

Doesn't work on imac main screen but external monitor is fine. When my iMac s locked the screens are all blank and I cannot log in. Good concept but can't be trusted as the main remote login for any machines that you need access to.

Chrome Remote Desktop 을 사용할 때 크롬과 확장기능의 단축키 비활성화 옵션이 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 사용하지도 않는 많은 단축키들이 겹쳐져 제대로 사용할 수 없습니다. Thanks for the great app, but I want to disable all Shortcut keys of Chrome and its Extensions while I'm using this app. It's almost unusable because of the overlapping of all those keys. + 임시 해결방법: 1. 우측상단의 프로필 버튼을 누른 후 기타 프로필에서 프로필 추가 클릭 2. 계정없이 계속(로컬계정)을 선택 (이 프로필은 동기화가 되지 않는 로컬계정임. 즉, 아무런 크롬앱이나 확장기능도 설치되어 있지 않으며 옵션도 모두 초기화되며 별도로 세팅가능함) 3. 이 로컬 프로필로 Chrome Remote Desktop 앱을 설치 후 구글 계정에 로그인한다. (이미 로그인한 계정이라며 프로필 전환 메시지가 뜨는데 취소를 눌러 로컬 프로필을 유지해주면 된다) 4. 끝. 이제 단축키나 기타 확장기능의 간섭이 전혀 없이 순정상태의 크롬으로 Chrome Remote Desktop을 이용할 수 있다. (혹은 필요한 확장기능이 있다면 그것만 추가로 설치해주면 된다)
