i have been looking for an app like this for months
Ultra top, faz o que promete com extrema fidelidade e simpatia e ainda informa quais guias foram "hibernadas", todos deveriam conhecer esta extensão, parabéns ao desenvolvedor!!!!!
Not very convinced yet. It does work fast and relatively simple, at first. But still has quite some flaws which annoy me after a short while of intensive use. I came from TheGreatSuspender so my expectation might be a bit higher. Just switched from TGS due to apparent issues with ownership change. The settings menu is not very intuitive or clear or maybe that's because some settings simply do not work correctly for some reason. I use the latest version on (an older) Mac. For instance: "5. Tabs are restored with all information intact (like scroll position or the content of text boxes)." >> well it does not. At least on Youtube, a whole textbox was lost after it was Discarded and loaded the page again.... very annoying. While the music position was still on the same position though. My usual process of still backing up text from boxes every now and then when writing online was of course just forgotten this time...:-/ Also the "Keep tabs for this session" option in the popup menu Checkmarked or not gave some really weird behaviour as it was regularly auto checked for random reason and I couldn't seem to find out why my tabs didn't want to Auto discard....unchecking this very every tab one by one solved it. Cumbersome.... Furthermore it annoys me very much that when Discarding a current tab, or want to close a current tab you are on or a few tabs you just have been working from, and close it with CTRL-W for instance, it automatically jumps to a random next tab which, when it is also discarded automatically undiscards again immediately. Doing the same again from there you embark in a irritating hopping journey searching for an open tab to do this action. This feels so clumsy and is a serious UI flaw. It's plain stupid. And on a bit slower computer and with many tabs extra pages unwanted loading just slows you down again. So Discarding all the tabs on the Left or Right when you look for a tab 'in the corner' seems to be the only way to do this, but you always end up with at least one tab undiscarded, the one you are on, or....the next one when you get forced hopped over to the next one....Dev please change this. Also "Discarding other tabs in this window" or other option sometimes just do nothing. Tabs don't discard, or not all of them. When repeating multiple times or using a different option it then does react. Some have a grey dot, but some don't. And never will. Weird. Also immediate auto loading a tab when (accidentally) clicking on a tab is not very intuitive too. TGS extension has a click function for this, but I guess this needed a specific extra function to do this which Auto tab discard clearly doesn't have built in and prob makes it therefor slimmer and faster. TGS is indeed a bit more resource hogging, but also way better in UI and options to be honest. Hopefully some of these features can be built in? Some tabs also don't discard manually and all in all I am losing a lot more time figuring out and discarding tabs than actually gaining productivity in the first place. I could rather just read and finish off that tab right away then in that time because this is very cumbersome..... Last but not least I also miss Keyboard shortcuts in the Settings menu. Why not there? Hoping for better days dev please look at this, otherwise I will have to uninstall it and go the Github dev way with a fork of the old TGS extension again and hope for the best.....
no like it
Türkler Kesinlikle indirin pc im 1.500 gb kullanıyodu bunu kullandım yedi yüz altı yüz e düştü
Just switch from TGS due to apparent issues with ownership change. In any case. Like the extension. One thing I would like to see, if possible, would be an entry in the tab context menu, if possible. Could match the page context entry. Only thing I preferred with TGS missing here is the ability to go to a tab and keep it hibernated. Not a big deal, but it's taking some getting used to. I suspect the method used here frees up more resources by not using a placeholder page, though, so it is what it is.
It doesn't seem to work Chrome 86. I see a huge amount of RAM usage in the task manager.
Now my pc is faster than I except
i disabled automatic tab discarding buy putting it to 0, but twitter is refreshing nonstop, does not work at all. 😡😡😡😡😡😡
