"Auto Tab Discard" is a lightweight browser extension that automatically reduces the amount of memory used by open but inactive tabs, helping to conserve battery life on portable devices by disabling JavaScript code and DOM events on discarded tabs.

Can someone PLEASE tell me if this is working. Two people (could be fake reviews) say it's working, while others on another site says the dev disappeared and it doesn't work. The reviews are terrible & I believe those ones because it's taking up a lot of memory & huge fluxes of good, then bad, in CPU. None of the tab suspender extensions are working anymore because of goolag rolling out manifest 3. I now have to do hours of work to wake up every tap & then remove the extension. sigh That's with Tab suspender. It's killing my HD. Just terrible. Thanks
Amazing extension that just helps with the Chrome's insane resource usage. More reliable than the native memory saver features. Look no further, this the extension you're looking for if the Chrome is slowing you down!
опция хранить выбранные вкладки на время текущей сессии - галочка всегда активна, как исправить?, все далее открываемые вкладки с этой пометкой, разработчики или может кто знает, прошу помочь!
Free. No spyware that i know of. Lightweight, no nonsense bloatware, reminds me of those great OG free software that they just dont make anymore these days since everyone has sold out and wants a quick buck.. Does everything I need it to do and much more that i dont need. What more do you want or need? Makes my potato of laptop run great. I can have 20 or 30 tabs open for the price of 1. Thank you very much to the devs, you guy/s are exactly whats great about the world and computing, the internet, and humanity in general. I have never wrote a review before but i think this deserves one. BRAVO! 5 stars!

OBSOLETO, tiene cerca de 1 millón de casillas y opciones y ninguna es de suspender tabs, así y todo, me tomé un día entero para leer todas las opciones y descripciones, pero todavía no lo pude hacer andar, es algo simple, suspender 1 tab = 1 click, no sé cuál será el IQ de los que crearon esto, pero seguramente es igual a 1, o incluso negativo, en fin, todos los otros suspenders que he instalado, al instante suspenden las tabs, este no lo hace automaticamente, y le puse 10 mins, tampoco lo hizo, luego 1 hora, esperé la hora y aún siguen todas las pestañas activas, ES UNA ESTAFA, NO SUSPENDE NADA, CUIDADO.
自动禁用好像失效了。 禁用窗口的其他标签页也没效果。
Okay. I have edited this review several times now. This extension WOULD be good... if it worked consistently. Every time I shut off my computer the Options menu magically does this very fun thing where it erases everything in there and stops working entirely! How goofy! And utterly rage inducing! Oh how fun it is that when this thing works it's the best one available so you're pretty much screwed on all fronts in this regard! I Love it! Oh, I'm on windows 10 by the way.
