- The static analysis heuristic flagged 'subscription/subscribe' keywords as paid signals, but these are false positives related to push notification subscriptions, not monetization.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud pricing is not visible in the extension code but is a paid enterprise service - the extension itself is free.
- No login UI was found in the extension files examined - authentication likely occurs via redirects to Salesforce's OAuth flow.

The 'subscription' and 'subscribe' keywords found in the codebase are related to web push notification subscriptions (PushSubscription API, VAPID keys), NOT paid/monetization subscriptions. The extension itself does not contain payment processing, billing APIs, premium feature gating, or upgrade prompts. While Salesforce Sales Cloud itself is a paid enterprise SaaS product, the extension is a free client that connects to existing Salesforce accounts - the paid aspect is at the destination service level, not in the extension itself.

- The extension requires authentication to Salesforce's service via OAuth2. It uses refresh tokens, CSRF token exchange, and session management to connect to the user's Salesforce org. The code shows login URLs for various Salesforce environments (login.salesforce.com, test.salesforce.com, etc.) and an AUTH_PATH for authentication. Without a valid Salesforce account and authentication, the extension cannot function.
Recently, this extension has developed a bug with accessing email templates from Salesforce when composing new emails in Gmail. This time-saving function is so helpful when it works and it's the primary reason I use this extension. Now, the Compose button creates a new email that covers the Salesforce extension, making it impossible to select an email template. When I minimize the Compose popup window, the option to select an email template disappears. Very frustrating. I hope this issue is resolved soon!
The integration is useful when logging emails to Salesforce. However, I've had major issues with connectivity and getting re-connected. Less so recently, so maybe it was a bug that they fixed. I'm happy with the extension option!
This integration is very useful! It's so helpful to add an e-mail to a record in Salesforce, rather than Copying and Pasting the text (which is what I had to do in our old CRM). It is a little glitchy at times, but overall a great feature.
They fixed it! Idk when it happened, but magically this side-bar went from frustratingly-buggy to working and useful! Thank you Salesforce! A rare win!
apresenta alguns bug's hein? nas é prático e dinamico!
Amazing the integration
Is gud
Great tool
Funktioniert sehr gut und erleichtert die Arbeit enorm. Toll wäre noch, wenn man zusätzliche Accounts verlinken könnte, auch wenn diese nicht als Adressaten angegeben sind.
Cirrus Insight does a better job of enabling the quick addition of contacts and other similar workflows. It would be great is SF made this more extensible or configurable as well.
