- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).
Info:
- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

this is a very useful extension. one thing though, when you click on the incoming text in the inbox or text section, the notification does not go away. To make it go away, you have to click on another folder like voicemail, then go back to the text section. If you would just clear the notification when you click on the text, it would save a lot of time and needless activity. Thank you for your consideration.
I use chromebook (hp 14) and the number indicated how many unread message is not readable format

This is a handy extension for checking voice mails, but i was disappointed to find that it seems you can't answer calls with it.
This is my favorite Google extension!
The most useful tool on my desktop....
Use it as my main phone number and get free texting and forwarding!!! Hope it works on this chromebook as well as it works on my phone and laptop.
I ws using GOOGLE VOICE to call everyone and it use to go to my phone now I can not even get it to work at all no calling out and can not recieve calls either plz help i miss my google voice used all the time at home. fix this and i will not wait to give it a 5 star.
I've been using this extension forever it's a normal part of my workflow. I have a request for the devs - When sending a text message it would be nice if "Ctrl + Enter" would submit the form when the text field has focus. This is a fairly standard keyboard short and is much appreciated by folks who do things quickly.
Doesn't alert me when new texts arrive, like it's supposed to. It really doesn't add any value.
