- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).

- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

Doesn't work most of the time. I can make calls but they don't hear me. Everything works fine when I access Gmail from Fire Fox.
keeps saying download voice plugin
The (1) and only reason this app extension didn't receive 5-Star rating is because new data will not update in the extension when entered into Google Contacts. For example, when updating phone numbers, they will not auto populate in the extension. Old information remains locked in the extension history with no way of clearing/updating. And this simply does not add to efficiency. I cannot recall every number I enter into Contacts and thus, rely heavily on new information auto populating when updating.
This application could be a lot better, it is very buggy and needs to be fixed up a lot.
I am unable to make calls using this plug-in on Chrome. However, I have gotten Google Voice working on Internet Explorer!! Doesn't make any sense, whatever.
Generally works well (on Windows 7), but takes a while to refresh, so sent texts don't always show up immediately.
the response is slow as hell
I like Google voice, using it with the phone, but I can't figure out how to make it work through the PC.
It was excellent when it worked..as of recent google voice has merged into hangouts.. i can't call it. i'm all for new things when it works. this interface of GV was second to none, you where in total control. hopefully Hangouts will get some decent updates in the future.
