Not a fan of this extension. I can't make a call through it at all. I sometimes get notification sounds that I"m getting a call but there is nowhere to answer from (checked all tabs). It shows that I have unread messages when all of them are read. I like google voice but this plugin is not very useful.

12/2013 Update: This works great again after a recent update to the extension. Useful and convenient tool for texting and calling with Google Voice without having to go to the Google Voice page. 11/2013: Unfortunately this extension is no longer working well with Chrome since the 11/2013 Chrome updates as others have said. It took some troubleshooting to figure out that Chrome freezing up was due to this extension. Chrome would have trouble scrolling pages, then eventually lock up and have to be killed. This was a convenient tool for texting and calling with Google Voice without having to go to the Google Voice page. I hope they fix it. You would think that an extension written by Google for Google Chrome wouldn't have this problem when a Chrome update was pushed, but apparently Google's right hand isn't talking to it's left. Unfortunate.

Last couple days Chrome has locked up every few minutes with a ton of CPU/Memory usage being displayed. Tracked it down to being caused by Google Voice extension, which I did not expect considering it is made by Google. Chrome version was 31.0.1650.57 m for reference.

I have used this plugin for a long time successfully, and I like it. It has a memory leak with the latest update and I had to restart my Centos 6.x box, and the plugin is now disabled. Please rollback to the previous version until this issue is fixed.

Last update (Nov. 21, 2013) appears to have caused an issue with Chrome that causes the extension to become processor bound (CPU = 100%). Prior to that, this extension was 4 stars and very useful.

Memory leak force me to disable this extension. Previous to this most recent release it was very useful.
