This is still useful, but the bugginess has gotten out of hand. It frequently leaves a blank, white bubble over part of the browser, opens only halfway when I click on it, and occasionally minimizes the browser window when I click on it. Unfortunately, I assume that this extension is not going to receive any further updates, considering that Google Voice is supposed to be folded into Hangouts this year.

Recently noticed that Chrome and my machine was becoming unresponsive. Tracked the problem down to this extension and when I kill it through the Chrome Task Manager the CPU utilization drops from 100% to under 5%. Come on Google - you can do better than this!
