Very useful! whenever I find myself without a real mobile phone, i always have this to fall back on. Only giving it 4 stars because there are some bugs that get in the way of functionality that should be fixed. sometimes no notification sound plays when a text is received, well, no notification at all (like, the number of unread texts doesn't change/show up) which can be quite annoying because then i have to manually check to see if i've received texts. MMS support would be nice, even if the MMS were to be sent to email and a notification were given that would be good enough. I hope Google eventually fixes the bugs and adds some more features.

Very nice, a must have if you use Google Voice. Huge text messages can be sent with ease! Needs improvement: Archiving messages is a chore, this app is very dated. Swipe to archive should be implemented. Bug: Sometimes the text box has a glitch where you can only enter one letter.

While I like this app, I find the inability to customize the sound for the ding and the fact it keeps sending me to New text message when I just want to check or reply is annoying sometimes. Please At least let the user customize the sound used for the ding. I'd love to put GLaDOS's voice saying new text message.

I use this extension all the time to send texts. It's so nice being able to type with a keyboard rather than with my thumbs. There is a problem with the tab sequence (pressing tab to move to the next field), which means there's more clicking involved than I would like. *THIS WAS RECENTLY FIXED Seems like some people are rating the voice service itself rather than this particular extension. The extension is really good.

I followed the link to report a bug.. which sent me to the web store.. which told me to find the developer's email address .. which sent me to the app store.. So after 20 mins of looking I will in stead just rate this app poorly. If you are a Google developer responsible for this application, please help. 1) This application does properly handle 'tel:' hyperlinks in Google Chrome for linux (Ubuntu 12.04). I get the default xdg-open dialog for unhandled links. the callto: is not what I want as I expect my pages to work with webkit for Android and iPhone (which they do). 2) If I remove the 'tel:' hyperlink references in my web pages for Chrome, this plugin automatically puts the default decoration for links, disrespecting my style definitions (in css). I don't care about this for my viewing, but when you mess up my styles for printing, even when links are marked to remove decorations, that will not work.
