- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).
Info:
- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

It like it but it's in desperate need of some major updates. If you can call from Gmail, why not let me call from the extension? And answer calls as well, instead of waiting for the "1 New Voicemail" notice to show up after the fact.
This is an excellent extension for the Google Voice service, and has become an extension I depend on. I just wish that I could press 'Enter' to confirm and send a text rather than having to transition my hands from keyboard to mouse and click the send button. If that's the only problem I have with this extension, it still deserves all five stars by far.
Beautiful! I've needed this for forever! Just wish the pop-out was re-sizable, I want it to be a little bigger.
Does not seem to work with multiple login. My Google Voice number is on my Account #2. I've saved the GVoice add-on settings to tie into Account #2, but it just keeps telling me I need to sign up for a GVoice number to work with the add-on. Suggest giving it a separate log-in so there's no confusion.
The best extension there is! Turns Chrome into a communications hub! Leave gmail open as a pinned tab and make and receive calls easily!
I use this Daily, I would really like to see desktop integration like the Google Talk extension.
I use this extension constantly. 2 Issues that I would love to see fixed though. 1. Pressing TAB does not take you from sender to the message body. 2. It only shows the last couple texts from a person with a link to expand all. I'd like a compromise somewhere in between. Can it be like an IM window where you can scroll up through all the messages if you want?
Doesn't work. Not sure why, but it just never starts the call. I can call people just fine through Gmail, so this should work.
Needs a new UI!
Fix the change with new hangouts! and allow us to tab from the number section to the message section.
