Calling doesn't work, really I only use it as a shortcut to get to voice.google.com. It never displays the correct amount of notifications for me, it is always stuck on some random number even though I don't have any unread texts or missed calls/voicemails.

Used to be a great extension. Quickly could click any phone number and it would ring my phone connected to Google Voice. Now it requires several clicks and a new browser window open each time asking if you wish to place the call through Hangouts or your Google Voice connected phone. More trouble now than it's worth. Should be able to set a "default" like "call my cell" instead of a new browser window and selection each time.

Ok, easy way to change my rating: On the click to dial, if there is a space, DON'T translate that into %20 then insert that into the dialing string, REMOVE the space so the 20 doesn't become part of the phone number!

This Google Voice extension is fine but it has a few issues. 1. My message count keeps increasing even though I've cleared out all my messages, voice mail, and Spam and have ZERO messages but it now shows 16. I've done the clear data as well as unloaded it and reloaded it. 2. I can't make calls from it because it opens up hangouts instead and forces me to use hangouts which is a few extra steps and a pain in the tuchus. 3. Google Voice has VASTLY improved with being able to send pictures, being able to have group texts and it only took them three or four YEARS to update it but it sometimes cuts in and out on phone calls even when I have a great connection to WiFi, Cell Phone WiFi, or Cell Phone 4G LTE connections. I hope you fix theses issues and make it a much more usable product because it has tremendous potential once the bugs and complications are addressed.

Previous versions of Google Voice used to hyperlink phone numbers on web pages that I could click on to initiate a call. The current release still creates the hyperlink, but when I click on it, nothing happens. (Chrome Version 69.0.3497.92, Google Voice Version 2.5.0)

Is this ever going to be updated? Come on Google!! Stop letting your products die please. I've been a loyal paying GV user since at least 2008 as memory serves. This is one of my favorite extensions, or it used to be. So convenient to click the extension and send a message.
