- If a phone number doesn't turn into a link, you can select the text with your mouse and right-click to make a call (note: might not work with all numbers).

- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

Crashing constantly suddenly
Google Voice was working great. Then the wheels fell off the past month or so. Frustrating when you know what a great tool this was.
every time I launch it the dial pad asks me to install the voice plugin. I am so sick of this
I cannot seem to get this to show the google hangouts option to dial calls on websites. It still tries to use google talk which has been disabled. This extension needs updating by google.

It worked fine up until the point where it started sending calls to google hangouts. Now I can only recieve text. I can not send text from the extinsion and have to use the web browser instead.
Used to have the option of having phone numbers ring my google talk account. That seems to have broken when hangouts was released. I'd really like to see that function come back since I just use my headset or mic on my computer to make calls via hangouts.
It's really painful to watch an app that changed lives, like Google Voice, die starved of resources at technology's holy Mecca. This app has been my first download on every phone I've owned and has maintained its utility, remarkably, despite banishment
