This has been a huge part of my experience of using steam. My steam region is south asia and a huge part of my purchases are based around checking if the game has regional pricing, what is the historical low of this game, when was the last time the game got historial low, what is the matching low of price of the game, what is the best way to buy this game, do I buy the game only or is it cheaper to buy a bundle where this game is also available? I regularly use the watchlist to place games or bundle or packages to check price. Cause you can't wishlist or follow bundles or packages in steam, only base game and dlc. Even the sales page is really well done. For example, sometimes I want to see which sales started just now, sort them by start date. It has better filter option compared to steam wishlist. Sometimes there is a major sale and you don't know what to buy and you also want to save some money by making a good purchase but you are overwhelmed seeing the home page of steam. Just go to sales page of steamdb, check "show only wishlisted", "hide owned games", add your desired minimum ratings or discounts and then sort the game by price. So this has helped me make a lot of purchasing decision for what games I want to play and also what games I can afford. So I highly recommend it.
